L'Oréal Paris Matte Lipsticks and Lipliners!

Omg you guys. I was always a longtime advocate of creamy matte lipstick by Mac Cosmetics simply due to the unusual and crumbly feeling a lot of matte liquid lipsticks leave on your lips-- but I think we've found a dupe that is just as creamy and luxurious!
*Brides- feel free to check out this product instead of spending $17 on a Mac lipstick for your big day- I know a lot of you never wear makeup and spending over $50 on lipstick, liner and gloss is a big deal for one event. L'Oréal has all three products and won't cost you nearly as much. It's always good to have options!*
Influenster sent me three matte lipsticks and three matte lipliners for free to review for you guys. (Thank you so much L'Oréal!!) The scent is reminiscent of lipstick my mom always had in her makeup drawer growing up.  The pencils are soft and creamy and glide right onto skin effortlessly- this is so important w how often I overline lips or fill in the entire lip before applying the actual lipstick on clients. The lipsticks are also very creamy and opaque -  the picture below has only two swipes for each swatch here. So pretty! #804 "He thinks he's matte-cho" is def my favorite of the three shades! Lancôme's New Monsieur Big Mascara is everything I ever dreamed of!

Influenster is a great resource for those of you that also want to immerse yourselves in the beauty world a little bit. They send you complimentary beauty products (or food or whatever your interests are actually) in exchange for honest reviews on all your social media platforms. They give you really specific instructions and as long as you comply, the amazing new products keep coming! I'm so excited to have received 3 Lancôme products in the mail to try a couple weeks ago. Influenster and Lancôme sent me the Monsieur Big Mascara, Cils booster (lash base), and Bi Facil (makeup remover). Here's all the proof you need on how amazing the base works w the mascara : 
I applied two coats of the base coat and let it dry. Then I applied two coats of the mascara afterwards. Absolutely amazing! The hypnose drama mascara is my favorite mascara in the whole world, so I'm not surprised at all that Lancôme came out w such a great product again. Look at that length andddd volume!! I highly recommend this Mascara duo to everyone and guess what- it doesn't even flake like the hypnose drama sometimes does. I'm just so excited because full, long lashes are very important to me in my makeup routine and it was so easy to achieve by using both products together. The makeup remover has been great as well. It doesn't sting or have a weird consistency like some cleansers and removers tend to. Let me know what this mascara does for you! I would love to see!

Kenra Professional Grip Trio Review

Hey ladies! Many of you ask me how to add volume and texture to your hair, especially those of you that struggle with fine or thin hair. Brandbacker/Kenra Professional recently sent me some products to try and they've been absolutely a dream to work with!

Because I don't have this issue, and wear my hair messy and down most of the time anyway, I decided to go right to my customers and try the products there.

I recently worked a wedding and did hair for the bride and her sister. Both girls had fine, thin, long hair and wanted a beautiful braided, low bun updo and a half up style with soft waves and fresh eucalyptus/flowers. This is a picture of the bride's hair before and after (her sister's was pretty identical):

I used the Whip Grip Mousse to start the styling process, then evenly sprayed the Air Grip Spray for lots of texture (especially in the updo), and finished both styles with the High Grip Defining Hairspray. The High Grip spray helped all the loose pieces stay in the bun and held the bride's waves through her ceremony and reception also!

If you're looking to try something new and don't fuss with beauty much on a regular basis, the Air Grip Spray is as easy to start off with as sea salt spray or dry shampoo in your beauty routine for fuller ponytails or sexy and popular beach waves, for example.
